1962 Glaxo established a factory making baby milk at a site beside a Milk Marketing Board creamery at Kendal.

1968 Glaxo acquired Farley's Infant Food Ltd of Plymouth

1976 Glaxo consolidated its food businesses, including Complan and Ostermilk, as Farley Health Products

1986 Acquired by Boots

1990 The Plymouth factory closed and production was consolidated at Kendal

1994 Farley's was acquired by Heinz
