1893 Advertisement: 'THE CITY SAW MILLS, MILL STEEET, WELLS. MESSRS. FARLEY & SONS Beg to announce that they have erected a Large HORIZONTAL SAW by Sparrow, of Martock.
This Saw is of the latest Design, and Superior Workmanship, and will convert timber up to four feet wide, and at any thickness required. Its finish is superior to any other Saw for large Timber.
A BAND SAW for all kinds of Circular Work, with CIRCULAR SAW for rough or smaller Timber, has also been erected, and as it is considered by many to be a long felt want supplied to the City and Neighbourhood. Messrs. F. & Sons hope, by prompt attention, to merit a share public patronage.
