1909 N. G. Fergusson and Company Limited was incorporated on 28th June.[1]

1924 The company changed its name to Fergusson, Wild and Company Limited on 26th September[2]

1945 Acquired by William Baird and Co[3]

1980 Acquired by Frank and Schulte of Essen, part of Veba; the business was importation, processing and distribution of ores.[4]

Subsidiary Goricon Metallurgical Services, whose customers were the British steel industry, provided refractory products.

1988 Acquired Microfine Minerals and Chemicals and Dupre Vermiculite [5]

2003 The company changed its name to Minelco Minerals Limited on 17th December.[6]
