1964 Ordered a 1500 ton hydraulic press forge from Davy and United Engineering Co[4]

1973 Gained Queen's Award for Export as result of 7-fold increase in export of ship's propeller shafting[5]

1976 Scotcros sold Thomas Bishop, marine equipment group to Fife Forge[6].

1978 Acquired T. S. Forster and Sons[7]

1981 Bought all the rights to the Simplon range of mobile lighting[8]
