1961 Manufacturers of pressure refuelling equipment, also engaged in aeronautical research, and development, refuelling of aircraft in flight. [1]
1968 Supplied seal plug and housings for the Winfrith power station. [2]
1970s FRL transferred its aerial operations to Hurn Airport.
1983 Acquired Huntleigh by a share-swap and sold the medical and electronics parts to the chairman and chief executive, leaving FRL with Hymatic, maker of high tech equipment for the defence and aerospace sectors[3]
1989 Flight Refuelling acquired Linborn, holding company of the Chelton Group[4]
1995 Changed its name to Cobham[5]
