1912 The Flower Motor Ship Company Limited was registered, with capital of £1 million, to carry on the business of shipowners and brokers, managers of shipping property, carriers of passengers and goods, etc., and to adopt agreements with Sir Marcus Samuel, and Messrs. M. Samuel and Co.[1]

1917 The company resolve to go into voluntary liquidation.[2]
