Focusrite plc (formerly Focusrite Audio Engineering Ltd.) is an English audio equipment manufacturer based in High Wycombe, England. Focusrite designs and markets audio interfaces, microphone preamps, consoles, analogue EQs and Channel strips, and digital audio processing hardware and software. Many, but not all, Focusrite products are manufactured for the company in China.

1985 Founded by Rupert Neve

1989 April. The co-founder of Soundcraft, Phil Dudderidge purchased the company's assets and established Focusrite Audio Engineering and reissuing the original modules along with some new designs.

The company designed a new console, the Focusrite Studio Console, released in 1990.

On 12th December 2014, Focusrite was floated on the AIM market as Focusrite plc
