FRANCIS BERTRAM ROBINSON, born at Skipton-in-Craven, Yorkshire, on the 13th March, 1880, died at Para, Brazil, on the 28th September, 1910.

Educated at Charterhouse, and at the Yorkshire College, Leeds, he served as Assistant Engineer on the Midland Railway staff at Heysham Harbour from 1906 to 1909, when he went out to Brazil as Engineer on the staff of the Para Construction Company.

Mr. Robinson was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 6th February, 1906.
