Perkins, Critchley and Marmont, pin manufacturers. In his early days the deceased left his native place and was for some time with Messrs. Brown, Marshall and Co., railway carriage and wagon builders, an old Birmingham firm. But at the death of his father he returned to the Stroud district, and with his brother, the late Mr. U. G. He leaves two sons— Mr. C. S. Critchley, partner in the Brimscombe business, and Mr. H. S. Critchley, chartered accountant at Oxford, and one daughter (Mrs. Vickerman of Huddersfield)...'[2]
