Swindlehurst, M.Inst.C.E., City Engineer, Coventry. 1909—I3—On open lines, Central Uruguay Railway, South America, finishing as District Engineer. 1913-14—Chief Engineer in charge of construction of extension of Central Chubut Railway, South America. Now Garrison Engineer M.W.S., Mhow, Central Provinces, India. War Services.—February I, 1915, to October 25, 1919, in H.M. Forces; served in Royal Engineers, left with hon. rank of Captain; gained M.C.
