Premises: Large factory at 13, Field Place, St. John Street, E.C. City Depot at above address. Occupied 2, Threadneedle Street, E.C., opposite the Royal Exchange, for many years. Is one of the oldest established houses in London, and was a landmark for many years in Threadneedle Street. City Depot: 25, Broad Street Station, Liverpool Street, E.C. (late 28 and 29, St. Swithin's Lane, and 2, Threadneedle Street, London, E.C.).

Biscuit manufacturer.

1747 Established by Jacob Lemann. Carried on in succession by Jacob Lemann, Michael Lemann (1817), Frederick Adolphus Lemann, Francis Haden Lemann.

1914 Specialities: "The Captains," "Tops Bottoms," "Norwich," "Rusks "; also many other kinds of Biscuits, including "American," "Digestive," "Bournemouth," Sweet Biscuits for Dessert, &c. The firm's Biscuit Powder for Infants' Food, Puddings, Frying Fish, &c., is extensively used. The above specialities are known all over the world.
