  • 1909-12 on construction of Port of Para, Brazil.
  • 1913-14 Para Improvement Scheme.
  • 1915-19 served with R.A.
  • 1920 Special Engineer, P.W.D., Bombay.
  • 1921-32 Executive Engineer (Construction and Dredging) Port Trust, Bombay.

1922 Assoc.M. Inst.C.E., Civil Engineer, P.W.D., Poona, Bombay Presidency, India; b. 1880. Ed. Daniel Stewart's College, Edinburgh; Edinburgh University. Assistant Engineer, Admiralty Harbour Works, Portland; Assistant Engineer, Port of Para, Construction Co., Brazil; Assistant Resident Engineer, Para. Improvements Co., Brazil; Contractor's Engineer on Railway and Harbour Works. At present engaged to draw up a scheme for the drainage of Poona. Member of Caledonian W.S. Club, Edinburgh. War Services.—Served with the R.F.A. in Egypt in 1915. Transferred to the R.G.A. in 1916, and was sent to India, promoted Captain and given command of loth Company R.G.A. between August, 1917, and November, 1918.
