Private Address: 5 Carnarvon Road, Redland, Bristol, 6. Career: Five years apprent., Smith, Laing & Co., Springfield, Fife; afterwards engaged on marine engine work on the Tyne. Eng. student at Heriot-Watt College, and the University of Edinburgh, for four years. Present appointment since 1909, having been granted leave of absence to take a post under M. of M. during the war, being then engaged mainly on aero-engine constructional work.
