FRANK ARTHUR HENRY SANDERS was born on 11th June 1883, in London, and was educated at Merchant Taylors School, and the Goldsmiths Institute, New Cross, afterwards being apprenticed to the Thames Engineering and Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., of Greenwich, for four years.
After further special training at the City and Guilds Institute, he joined the Royal Mail Steam Packet Co. as an engineer in 1906. During the war he was on the R.M.S.P. convoy to Mesopotamia and had since served on different ships of the company as second engineer.
He died at sea on 30th August 1926.
Mr. Sanders became an Associate Member of this Institution in 1913.
