1897 Born in Croydon the son of Albert Edward Ayling, a Builder.

1911 Living at The Cottage, School Hill, Warnham, Horsham, Sussex, with his parents and four siblings.

1925 Married in Croydon to Hilda Lilian Dear. He is listed as a builder of Thornton Heath.

1938 Formed Crawley Aircraft and Precision Tool Co

1939 Living at Star Lane, Court Lodge Farm, Banstead, Surrey, Governing Director of Crawley Aircraft and Precision Tool Co. With Hilda L. Ayling.[1]

1990 July 29th. Died.
