Appointed in 1914 Burgh Electrical Engineer to the Greenock Corporation. District Engineer for Greenock and District Coal Control; Secretary to the West of Scotland Committee for the Interconnection of Electricity Supply Undertakings. 1919-20—Chairman of the Students' Section (Scottish Centre) Institution of Electrical Engineers.
