Frederick Temple Hamilton-Temple Blackwood (1826–1902), diplomat, Marquess of Dufferin

1826 Commander Price Blackwood (1794–1841), the youngest of three sons of Hans, Lord Dufferin, and Mehetabel Temple, and heir to the title and estate in Ireland of Baron Dufferin and Claneboye, married Helen Selina Sheridan [married name Helen Selina Blackwood, Lady Dufferin and Claneboye] (1807–1867). After their wedding in London, the young couple went to Italy.

1826 Their only child, Frederick Temple Hamilton-Temple Blackwood, subsequently Marquess of Dufferin and Ava, was born on 21 June 1826 in Florence.
