1832 Colonel Frederick Blom of Stockholm, Engineer to the King, became a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.[1]

COLONEL FREDETICK BLOM, who was elected a Member of the Instution of Civil Engineers April 10, 1832, and -

CAPTAIN GUSTAF LAGERHEIM, who joined the Institution of Civil Engineers, as a Member, May 23, 1820, were both distinguished officers in the Swedish service, and had been connected with Mr. Telford in his works in Sweden.

It is to be regretted that it has not been practicable to procure the materials from whence to draw up memoirs of these two distinguished Engineer Officers and Members of the Institution.
