Frederick James Commin (c1852-1933), sanitary engineer, of Commins and Cole

Born at Exeter the son of James Commin, Conveyancing Barrister. His brother was James George Commin.

1897 Patent. 'Donald Cameron, civil engineer, of No 1, Sylvan Road, Pennsylvania, Exeter, and Frederick James Commin, fellow of the Institute of Surveyors, of No 7, Bedford Circus, Exeter for improvements in apparatus for automatically altering the delivery of liquid to two chambers or receptacles and also its discharge therefrom, particularly applicable to sewage filters.[1]

Practised as architect in Exeter. Later mover to London.
