Born at Wingham the son of James E. Elgar, a farmer.

1938 Mr. F. M. Elgar, of Gobery Hill, Wingham, who is Managing Director of the Wingham Engineering Company, and Captain of the Wingham Fire Brigade.[1]

1939 Residing at Gobery Hill, Eastry, Kent, Frederick M. Elgar, Agricultural Engineer (Manager). With Frances Elgar, Grace M. Elgar and Joan C. F. Elgar.[2]
