1961 Manufacturers of engineers' keys and taper, parallel and split pins, also stainless steel bolts, nuts, screws and other fastenings. [3]

By 1961 was part of GKN. In conjunction with Ionic Plating Co, a laboratory was set up at Mountfords, GKN Fasteners Corrosion Laboratory, to promote corrosion resistant fasteners[4]
