Sir Frederick Warner BSc, HonDTech, HonDSc, FIChemE, Fellow was knighted in 1968 for his services to chemical engineering. He has been senior partner with Cremer and Warner since 1963 and is a renowned consulting engineer.

Educated at University College, London, Sir Frederick was President of the IChemE in 1966, and President of the Federation Europeene d'Assocs nationales d'Ingenieurs in 1968. He is Chairman of the NEDO Process Plant Working Party and a Vice-Chairman of The Open University Council.

Sir Frederick's publications include papers on the problems of large scale plant contracts, air and water pollution, coal and oil gasification, applied fluid mechanics, and the general education of engineers.
