RUSHBROOKE, Frederick William; b. 1861, at Willenhall, Staffs.; s. of Joshua Rushbrooke; J.P. of the City of Birmingham, 1933. Educ.: Queen's College, Taunton; 1893, commenced business as Hardware Factor and Cycle Fittings Factor; 1907, formed business into Limited Co., as the Halford Cycle Co., Ltd., of which he was Joint Managing Director; 1928, was elected Chairman and Managing Director; 1915-18, Treasurer of the Hospital for Wounded Soldiers at Sutton Coldfield; 1931, Senior Treasurer of the Wesleyan Methodist Conference, Birmingham; 1931, elected Senior Treasurer of the Princess Alice Orphanage, Sutton Coldfield; nt. d. of Mr. and Mrs. W.
