1929 Company incorporated to acquire the business of Furmanite Engineering Corporation Ltd of London and the registered trade-mark Furmanite.

1937 Listed Exhibitor - British Industries Fair. Furmanite method of quickly, effectively and permanently sealing leaks under pressure. Furmanite compound is injected when softened by heat into the leak where continued heat hardens it into efficient packing. (Stand No. D.228)

1967 Renamed Furmanite Ltd, of Birkenhead

1981 J. Bibby and Sons acquired 85 percent of Furmanite International Ltd with its world-wide service operation sealing industrial plant under pressure, manufacture of equipment and leak sealing compounds.[2]
