1938 ".... Must visit the GAS Showrooms and see THE G.L.C. ENAMELLED COOKER - The Cooker which costs only one penny a day to purchase (paid quarterly)..."[2]

1938 ".... Dual hot water system from boiler and GLC gas water heater, Gas cooker and gas fire ... "[3]

1940s: Many house content adverts mentioned GLC Cooker thus: "....B.T.H. refrigerator, G.L.C. enamelled gas cooker, croquet set by Slazengers, garden swing, garden roller, garden seat, and other effects....[4]
