On Saturday last, July 25th, Dr. George Leslie Kelley died at Oxford, at the age of seventy-two years.

Dr. Kelley was formerly managing director and scientific adviser to the Pressed Steel Company, of which he became vice-chairman in 1948.

As a metallurgist Or. Kelley made a particular study of the manipulation and uses of steel.
