Gilbert Vernon Wildman-Lushington (1887-1912). Early aviator.
1887 Born in Farnborough the son of Percy W. Lushington, Army Captain, and his wife Diana
1913 2nd December. Died at Eastchurch when flying a Short biplne (Gnome engine). He overbanked on a gliding turn and side-slipped the wing tip into the ground. He was crushed by the petrol tank.
