1905 'ANOTHER NEW MILL FOR BLACKBURN. The Garden-street Mill Company have decided to erect new premises to contain 460 looms. The contract for engines, shafting, etc., has been given to Messrs. Ashton, Frost and Co., and the mill will be fitted with machinery by Messrs. Livesey, Limited. It is expected to have the mill running in September.'[1]
