1868 Partnership dissolved. '... George Gatenby, late of the city of Manchester, and of Union street, 'New Longford, in the county of Lancaster, Reed Manufacturer, deceased, a partner in the firm of Gatenby and Pass, which partnership was dissolved by his death...'[2]
