1881 Advert: 'NOTICE IS GIVEN, that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, SAMUEL GAUNTLETT & CHARLES GAUNTLETT, carrying on business as Wholesale Bedding Manufacturers, Feather Dressers, Importers, Merchants, Warehousemen, and Patent Carding Machine Manufacturers, at Trowbridge, in the County of Wilts, under the style or firm of S. Gauntlett and Co., has been DISSOLVED, as from the Twenty-first day of July, 1881, so far as the said Charles Gauntlett is concerned. The said Samuel Gauntlett will continue the business alone, but under the same style or firm of S. Gauntlett & Co.
