Gentle and Falconer of Clegg Street Works, Oldham were General Brassfounders and Finishers.

1888 Partnership change. '...the Partnership which subsisted between Archibald Gentle and James Falconer, in the business of Brass Founders and Gas Meter Makers, at Clegg-street, in Oldham, in the county of Lancaster, under the style of Gentle and Falconer, was -dissolved, by the death of the said James Falconer, on the 2nd day of February last. All debts due to or owing by the said firm will be respectively received and paid by the said Archibald Gentle, by whom alone the said business is now carried on...'[1]
