1886 The partnership of Horsfall and Bickham was dissolved - this company was presumably where Kennedy worked and which he subsequently took charge of.

1891 Card clothing, card cloth, india rubber manufacturer and wire drawer, and also maker of machinery for same, employer, living in Pendleton with Helen Kennedy 25, Douglass Kennedy 1, Alexander G Kennedy 3 mo[3]
