1886 George Bayliff and Son Limited was registered, with a capital of £20,000, to trade as iron and steel founders, boiler makers and repairers, shipbuilders, mechanical engineers, machine and engineering tool-makers and repairers, brass founders, mill wrights, metal workers, steel converters, and hardware manufacturers.
1914 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[1]
