1871 Living at 7 Vale Road, Rhyl: George Bell (age 34 born Scotland), Land Surveyor and Valuer. With his wife Margaret A. Bell (age 34 born Ruthin, Denbighshire) and their three children; Sybilla M. Bell (age 5 born Rhyl); Walter E. Bell (age 3 born Rhyl); and Ada A. Bell (age 1 born Rhyl). Two servants.[1]

1901 Living at Cummer House, Rhyl: George Bell (age 64 born Dunfriesshire), Land Surveyor and Civil Engineer - Surveyor for St. Asaph Rural Council - Widower. Also his daughter Ermine M. Bell (age 25 born Rhyl) and his sister-in-law Jane E. Davies (age 66 born Ruthin).[2]
