1855 Partnership change. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, George Crosland, Thomas Pearson Crosland, John Woodhead Crosland, and Joseph Crosland, carrying on business together, at Crosland Moor and Lockwood, both in the parish of Almondbury, in the county of York, and at Huddersfield, in the said county, as Woollen Cloth Manufacturers and Merchants, under the style or firm of George Crosland and Sons, was dissolved by mutual consent, on the 13th day of October instant, so far as regards the said George Crosland. All debts due and owing to and from the said late partnership will be received and paid by the said Thomas Pearson Crosland, John Woodhead Crosland, and Joseph Crosland, by whom, along with Charles Crosland, the said businesses will in future be carried on, under the said style or firm of George Crosland and Sons...'[1]
