George Frederick Laundy Sharp (1868-1928)

George Frederick Laundy Sharp was born in 1868 and was educated at the City of London School.

After some thirteen years' commercial experience he joined the Temple Press, first on the staff of "Cycling," and later on "The Motor."

In 1917 he was appointed Editor of "The Commercial Motor," continuing in this position until his death, which occurred on 23rd December, 1928, at the age of sixty.

He was elected an Associate of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1910.
