Car.: after 2 years with Ransomes, engineers, joined the editorial staff of the "Motor Cycle" and was editor for many years, until joining R.A.F., attaining rank of capt.; end of 1918 appointed Man. Editor of "The Autocar," "The Motor Cycle," etc.; and a Dir. of Iliffe & Sons in 1923. Widower: 2 children.
