1937 Colin Peter Kininmonth and George Grey invented Sellotape

Grey was a founding member of Adhesive Tapes Ltd

1939 Residing at 49 London Road, Chepping Wycombe, General Manager, Adhesive tapes, Cloth Tapes and Surgical Cloths(?). Also Mabel Amy Brown (born 1901), Supervisor of Adhesive tapes ltd.[1]

1953 George Grey invented improvements in cutter devices for reels of adhesive tape, which Adhesive Tapes Ltd of Borehamwood patented.

1965 April 13th. Died, of 40 manor House Drive, Brondesbury Park. Probate to Jeanne Grey, Widow; Nadia Bloch, married woman; and George Grey, Engineer. 'Mr. George Grey, O.B.E., of Willesden, London, who died suddenly in Majorca, was a frequent visitor to Northern Ireland. His daughter is the wife of Mr. George Bloch, of Ulster Laces Ltd., Portadown. One of the best known and most respected figures in the packaging industry of the United Kingdom, Mr. Grey was managing director of Adhesive Tapes Ltd. until his retirement in 1957. He was born in Russia.'[2]
