GEORGE HANLEY HUTCHINSON, born at Catterick, Yorks, on the 3rd September, 1887, was killed in action in France on the 3rd March, 1916.
After being employed on the construction of reinforced-concrete bridges for the Gloucestershire County Council, he went out to Argentina in 1910 as an Assistant Engineer on the Central Cordoba Railway.
On the outbreak of war he returned home, and was gazetted in December, 1914, to the Yorkshire Regiment.
He was elected an Associate Member on the 9th February, 1915.
