George Lupton Reynard (1902-1965)

1902 Born in Easingwold the son of Mark Reynard, an ironmonger - who presumably later set up as a motor agent - see Mark Reynard

Educated at Wesleyan School, Easingwold.

1916 First connected with the Motor Industry as a Mechanic.

1921 Main interest in Motor Cycle Racing

Rode in four International T.T. Races in the Isle of Man coming 4th in 1927 and 6th in 1928 and in the Swiss Grand Prix, 1925 and 1928.

Also a contestant in 2 Scottish 6 days, and 3 International 6 days trials.

From 1929-31 engaged in Dirt Track racing in Halifax, Preston and York.

1931 Set up his own business.

1931 Married at Easingwold to Evelyn Appleton

1953 Proprietor of Garage in own name, Easingwold.
