George Nissel

From Graces Guide

eorge Nissel (1913-1982) was born in Transylvania, and studied engineering. He moved to Britain in 1937. After WW2 he established G. Nissel and Co in London, initially making contact lenses, and then adding machines for making contact lenses to his output.[1]

1946 Went into partnership with George Grimes, who had previously serviced the machines that Nissel used during his work. Their premises were in Siddons Lane, London. [2]
