1894 George Rome became sole partner of George Rome and Company, plasterers, modellers and cement workers, of 41 Shamrock Street, Glasgow, after the two other partners, James Frame and Alexander Frame, relinquished their interest.[1]

1913 George Rome and Company (Glasgow) Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £10,000, to carry on the business of plastering and granolithic contractors.[2]

1914 The company acquired the business of R. A. M'Gilvray, modeller and plasterer, of 129 West Regent Street, Glasgow, from Mr M'Gilvray's trustees.[3]

1998 The company was dissolved.[4]
