A railway fireman on the Midland Railway at Derby

1911 Gave evidence (after retiring) before Lord Cromer for the Royal Commission on Railway Conciliation Boards. He suggested that Mr. Cecil Paget, general superintendent, Midland Railway, had an ill-feeling against him , and stated that Mr. Paget came on to the footplate one day and abused him. This he regarded as intimidation.
