1841 "...the Partnership which existed between us the undersigned, Joseph Whitham (surviving administrator....of George Whitham, deceased), Joseph Ashforth, and Charles Barnes, as Screw, File, and General Manufacturers, carried on at Sheffield....under the firm of George Whitham and Company, expired, by effluxion of time, on the 30th day of September last, and is determined and dissolved. All debts due to and owing from the said late partnership will be received and paid by the said Joseph Ashforth and Charles Barnes, who will continue the trade on their own account: As witness our hands this 16th day of October 1841."
