1902 Partnership change. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Thomas Garnett, John Piercy Burgess, Henry Boyd, and Alexander Mackenzie, carrying on business as Stuff Merchants in the city of Bradford, under the style or firm of "GILLIES, GARNETT, AND CO.," has been dissolved by mutual consent as and from the thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and two, so far us regards the said Thomas Garnett, who retires from the firm. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said John Piercy Burgess, Henry Boyd, and Alexander Mackenzie, who will continue the said business under the present style or firm of "Gillies, Garnett, and Co."...'[1]
