1891 The company was registered on 23 July, to acquire the properties of the Scottish Canadian Asbestos Co, situated in the province of Quebec, Canada. [1] The business was incorporated as a public company, with capital of £70,000, to carry on the business of asbestos producers and merchants, and of a mineral or mining company in all its branches.[2]

1908 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[3]
