1964 The business was initially registered as Charles Thomson (Woollens 1964) Limited of Burnside Works, Alva, with capital of £2,000, to carry on business as textile manufacturers.[1]

1975 The company changed its name to Glen Alva Limited.[2]

1999 The company went into receivership.[3]
