Glencairn Motor and Cycle Co

From Graces Guide

of Wandsworth

Glencairn were motorcycles produced in 1903.

There is little information on this make and few are thought to have been built. They were assembled from bought-in parts and probably based on a standard heavy-duty gents' bicycle. The engine would have been extremely basic and either imported or bought from a firm in the Midlands. It was reputedly built for export, but there is no indication as to whether this was for the European market or elsewhere.
