Glengarnock Chemical Co

Agreement with the Glengarnock Iron and Steel Co to supply rich gases by using only coal in the blast furnaces, rather than the more economic coke.
1916 The Ministry of Munitions agreed to help David Colville and Sons to purchase the Glengarnock works outright and, by gaining a controlling interest in the Chemical Co relieve them of the fuel contract.
