1896 The Glen Skiach Distillery Company Limited was incorporated with John Ross as secretary and manager. Both Glen Skiach and Glenskiach are used in authoritative sources, though the latter term is more commonly used

1926 The company went into voluntary liquidation. The distillery did not reopen and the buildings were demolished in 1933.
